So basically tippmann just combined the AB and PS together
nothing new here but still cool

Looks cool. You could get a better aftermarket look though, and having a rail and carry handle probably ups the price...

think of it as the salvo with a AB body
so i would assume around the price of the salvo

Well we are Alpha Black forums...some Tippmann rep has to have seen us at some point.

this is a linear move,.. all they have to make is a new name plate, and a new front shroud.

i wont be buying a whole new one,.. but maybe the shroud when it comes up on Tippmannparts

According to what I've seen, they're holding the price at $130, about what the AB goes for. I'm not exactly sure how they're doing it, I guess different composites or something. But it is definitely a step up for beginners as far as tacticool factors.

no same company, but looks like the will phase the alpha black tac out of the equation
and keep the elite in its place


I kinda feel Tippmann just threw it together just to announce something at PBE

camo masks - ooh cool.....but really a "new" product?
OD green TPX - .......ok really same thing nothing new.....just a paintjob?
new harness - meh

alpha black elite - really.... now your just reaching

throw a flex valve into a Carver one and add a Cx4 storm like stock and big bang boom you have a
sick looking NEW marker
instead of adding a useless removable handle and a rail to a hand guard and NOTHING to improve the marker

Why tippmann hasnt run wild with the flex valve is totally beyond me.
and for those that will ask why not mag fed....well its a long story but bottom line is
mag fed is small tippmann is big
they have no plans for the future for mag fed other then the TPX

Totally agree with you Arson! Reaching! In my opinion...Tippmann should be innovators, not subject to putting lipstick on a pig. So much more potential!

I know Tippmann have been followers in the industry for a while
but for once I would be nice to see some crazy innovation from them

ya pretty much........they threw this together a couple weeks before PBE, while standing next to the water cooler

So basically, it's a AB with a Salvo receiver (with added handle) and an added rail on the handguard....that sucks.
Thought they'd have done more than that to it.
