So many of you may know Tippmann sent me a replacement board for my Alpha Black but in the mean time I had already purchased an Ape board. So started looking for ways to mod an A5 grip to fit the guts...thanks ghostrider for having one up for sale!
The only things needed were the magnet, egrip sear, spring and armiture pln (made my own).once the parts were in it was a matter of breaking out the dremel! Please realize that the triggeractuator is set up different than the A5.
Picture of the modded grip...I had to sand quite a bit the get the capacitor/diode to fit along with the battery:
Close up the trigger mech:
You can see I used a nail to hold the trigger mech in place...worked awesome...gotta love JBWeld!
I did have to do a little more sanding to make sure everything wasn't so tight. I tested it out and works flawless!
Let me know if you have questions...Sy
Sorry for the ginormous pics fellas...I'm on my phone and will size them later.

Best thing to do is take your pin...lay it in the slot and Mark it with a marker...then cut.

Storm...do you have a place for it? Or would you have to drill and tap? The fang trigger comes with them for adjusting.

I found the magnet always wanting to fall out or stick to anything metal so a used a piece of paper stuffed it in there like a shim...worked great!

I have a bad habit of losing and displacing egrip magnets lol...hoping glueing it will solve that problem
