NOOB here.

Geeking out hardcore in to paintball right now. I have 4-5 fields within 45 of my house. I mostly roll solo. A guy at work plays but he's a speedballer.

Right now my loadout is

Alpha Black tactical
Cyclone feed
14" j & j
Handguard picatinny rail
BSA rds
Sling
Waist harness
68ci 4500 hpa
Remote (removed slide check and quick disconnect)
3 pods to the left, none on the right

Tipx pistol
Tac light (came with it never use it)
Apex barrel (came with it never use it, blocks the co2)
Under arm shoulder harness left side
Extra mag and barrel swab right side

Tippman free mask w/ JT mask fan (I have glasses)
BDU pants
Woodland t shirt
Tactical boots

Anything at all is appreciated. Marker ideas, woodsball strategy, speedball strategy, anything.

Welcome aboard! Great people here and great markers. Been slow for a bit but I know it will pick up again.

At first I was disappointed that I was late to the party. Now I'm just happy that I'm old enough buy and do what I want (wives are easier than mothers) and that I made it to the party at all.

first off welcome to the forum

secondly....upgrade that mask to a decent one, this is were the bulk of the money up front
should be put too.
because you should be able to see what you are shooting at

I've heard the mask advice over and over again. I'm def worried about fogging glasses though. Not the lense. My glasses. Contacts are not an option. The mask fan I have works well when needed. I were a full face supplied air/organic vapor cartridge respirator for work so I'm used to controlling my breathing through my nose. Which would be my advice to everyone. You can't run out of breathe if you can practice working/stressing your body while breathing through your nose. It also helps control my strategy. If I'm out of breathe or my mask is fogging, I'm moving to fast.and need to slow down. Also I like the idea of looking like a noob with a crappy mask and "another alpha black". Feels that much better when you put to the face of a guy with a DM12 spamming you from distance. That being said, any mask suggestions. I like the look of the Sly Profit. Any good? Also a lil worried about getting roped in the forehead. I stumbled across the zeta mags geeking out online. The dual mags look awesome. Anyone have any info news on the Milsig FXR? That setup looks ridiculous.

As far as masks go I also wear glasses and I have a VForce Profiler, it fits great araound my glasses and I have never had a problem with the mask or my glasses fogging up. I would suggest that you go to a shop if you can and try some different ones on, find what fits the best for you and is comfortable.

I also run with a TiPx but I carry it in a thigh rig with a 3 pouch set up on the opposite leg and 4 mags on my vest, run a tac hopper and 50 rnd pods. I like limited ammo, I carry about as much paint total as most have in their hopper.

Like myself and othes have said it is not the marker that makes the player but the player.
