Couple things I need help with
1. Making the link arm 2. Drilling the hole for the pin for the spring to hook onto 3. ...Well that's it for now
1. I have two of those linkage arms that everyone has that connects the hammer to the front bolt, but I need to know how to connect it to make that link arm. I thought about cutting one of them down the middle to form a weird "L" and attach it to the other link arm with JB weld (Don't worry, if I mess up, it doesn't matter, these linkage arms are two EXTRA ones). I would put it like this:
Do you think that will work?
2. I don't want to drill directly into the shell, I have an extra pin that goes on the trigger also. I think it's something like 1/8 Inch drillbit or something. Do I HAVE to drill directly into the shell, or is there a different way?
Thanks for the help

Dangit, do you know the linkage arm that connects the hammer to the front bolt? In the drawing there is one of those, and then half of one.

That's what I'm worried about, I don't know what else I can do, I can't weld cause I don't think we have a welder, so how else can I do it?

The rods would be to thin to weld

That's what I'm saying also, there's not many options, whats a really strong bonding agent that works on metal that I can get at a hardware store or something?

you could use a 2 part epoxyputty ala jb weld
you could use like a gorilla glue, thatll work on metal, but i think a putty would be the most manageable and shape-able, so that would be my recomendation

That's what I was thinking. Maybe I'll reinforce it with solder. I have a soldering iron and I can pick up some metalworks solder.

if you solder it theres a way to wrap it with another wire for suport and kind of tie the whole thing together, thats kinda outside of my soldering abilities though, i weld better then i solder...
you could always braze them together, which is like soldering with a blowtorch, like this

i'm assuming you can braze using a propane torch?

Um I might be able to do that, don't know if we have any torches though. :/
