OP Syclops
Hey guys...i thought I would post up a simple "How To" regarding a Pod Loader. I think arson was the one who posted a link from the 98og forum, but I thought I would do my own write up complete with pictures.
Materials: 1) Folgers Coffee Can (3lb) plastic 2) spout from a laundry detergent container 3) razor blade/exacto knife 4) Hot glue gun. 5) sand paper or dremmel with sanding tool
1) start with cutting the spout off the laundry detergent. You can see here I not only saved the spout but also the fancy cap that came with it
2) Next cut a hole in the top of the coffee can small enough to accept the spout.
3) Next sand the two mating surfaces.
4) Then fire up the hot glue gun and glue the spout to the lid:
5) Test the pour velocity (how fast the paint balls come out...then I used a dremmel to further sand the opening to ensure a smoother more rapid pour. Fill it with paintballs and show it off to your friends!
They will be jealous that you made yours for FREE instead of forking out a butt-load of cash! Now it is time to paint this bad boy...camo of course!
OK guys feel free to post up pics of your creations as well or any mods that make this thing even better!

It was the push-button spout...not the pour spout type.

Yeah...I guess if the hole is big enough? It would work great...the only pour spout I had at the time was fabric softner and that was waaay too small

Some pour type spout requires cutting, there are these weird walls on the inside next to the spout that blocked the paintballs when I tried something similar to this....

I'm taking this idea a different way. Will show off my variation later.

If you fast forward through me gushing about my marker, you'll see it, and if you look close in the background you'll see it on the preview image. I'm still tweaking the idea...

The AB is looking AWESOME (Cant wait to see it with some top and side rails) and I like the pod loader...use Crylon Fusion for plastic.
Pop rivits might be a pain to take out when you need to take the marker apart though...be careful!

Yeah I know, I'm gonna see what I can do different but for now the rail is on there nice and snug and it's not going anywhere. I know if I have to take them out I'm gonna need a drill so that'll probably be an investment I'll have to make along with my equipment. I plan on definitely taking it apart and doing a full cleaning before I go to D-Day next year and taking a drill with me to do what I need to.
