| Ok time for a new thread. For those of us with the mkv kits waiting around for the dmags to be released is about as painful as it comes. Were torn between spending 35 bucks a magazine to turn around and end up paying 5$
Well Im sick of waitin and I have atleast 6 feet of 3/4 id pvc pipe so lets get creative. Ideas, Ideas, Ideas! I was thinkin maybe a section on pvc long enough to hold 10 rounds and a spring and a block of wood around it as the mag housing but im open to ideas!!! |

| Hmm, might work, but the spring pressure could come in as a serious variable in this. Too much pressure can cause chops, not enough pressure can cause chops. (At least I think that it would if shooting fast) | |

| You could just modify the 20 rounder altogether...spring and casing? I've seen other guys do this with great success...take a look on youtube as I think there were some how-to vids. | |

| You have to cut the 20 round into peices to make it into a 10 round. What iv come up with so far are magazines that are a 3rd the length of a normal 20 round. I cut them out of a chunk of 4x4. I measure out the thickness of the mag then cut the 4x4 into slices. I have 3/4 tube for the track and 3/4 inch pvc pipe for the collar. I just need a freaking drill press now and everything will be good to go! |

| Just tryin to get another camera. Trying to fix a couple issues with the spring. First test had 1 double fire,1 chop, and 7 shots. I rigged it up like an airsoft magazine with the little knob exposed for pulling the spring down. I put it just below the opening of the magwell so the magazine can be loaded while in the marker if I want to. The only trade off is the mag holds 12 rounds but shoots 10.
Oh yea I simplified the design to so its a screw, a peice of wire, a spring,a peice of pvc pipe and a block of wood. Not to shabby I must say. More to come though with pictures. |
