| Ok guys....I played this weekend and it was 38 degrees. Ihad a few problems with co2 and some point soon I would like to make the switch to HPA. I really enjoy how long a 20oz tank lasts so that is kind of a starting point and I run a remote line. Price is another factor! So help me out guys...what tank would be best for Tippmann markers that can last a while but decently priced? | |

| The Ninja tanks are the best for the money IMO. Go with the 68/4500 or the 90/4500. Only gvet the 90 if you are using a remore line as it's pretty big. The Ninja regs have some of the best recharge rates and will be more consistant. The only ones that come close to that are the Guerilla Air ones, but they cost more | |

| I use the Empire 68ci 4500 PSI. It's always worked out fine for me, but it was kind of expensive. Also, like Tufle said, you could go bigger if you are using a remote line, but that's your choice. Other then that, I don't have any experience with any other kind, so I'm not going to pretend to. | |

| SY I thought you had HPA already. I use a Guerilla Air 88/4500. Works great. Can get over 1000 shots with the FPS set to 265 (250-280). Haven't counted how many shots, but I know it's over 1k.
I actually got the tank for like 60 bucks because it had been sitting in the store for like a year or something, but it started with a 5 year hydro so I'm good haha. | |

| Nope...I wish david...the only reason I have not switched was due to the number of fillers around here...now we are starting to get more shops filling hpa. | |

| Can't believe you didn't have HPA already SY. Don't foget to check with your local Scuba shops for re-fills too. Only costs me £3 to get my HPA tank filled. | |

| I would recommend a carbon fiber 4500 PSI tank. You won't get many shots out of a steely. The CF tanks can be pricey, but you only have to pay that price once. Here's a link to a website that shows how many shots per tank you can get. http://www.zdspb.com/tech/misc/resources/shotspertank.html | |

| With a well set up Alpha Black using good paint to bore match I used to get approx 1200 shots out of a 68/4500 | |

| I've been considering going HPA for awhile now, Tuf just made my decision easier. But you said you only have to pay for the CF tank cost one time? Do those things last forever or something? | |

| I've been searching for a smaller-than-normal HPA tank, and I finally found one that might be my winner. It's a Ninja 35cui 3000psi Al. http://www.paintballgear.ca/product/Ninja_35Cui_3000psi_-_Aluminum_Tank.html So far most of my play has been with a 48cui that I borrowed from a friend. It obviously works fine for the most part, but is bulky with my stock, and I always have easy access to air refills at my local fields so capacity, and constantly refilling, isn't necessarily a concern. The 35cui will hopefully keep me going more than long enough...I'd even consider a 20-something if I could find one that was more squat than long... For example I found a 13cui, but when I did a scale comparison (in MSPaint), by comparing the thread size relative to the overall length (and thankfully the images were to scale so the threads were equal), the 13cui appears LONGER than the 35cui!! Does anyone play with anything under a 48cui HPA tank and can offer me some advice? | |

| my 2 cents …don't get a guardian tank! I got 2 on sale….first 1 leaked 100 or so shots in and just last night was awoken by a loud pop followed by violent hissing as the 2nd tank decided to commit suicide at 3am! this tank was filled but was sitting for like 3 days only, no big temp change or anything going on….guardians are junk | |
