Hey guys one of my rental tanks has an issue...its full with co2 but when I connect to a remote line or directly to a marker its like its clogged...co2 hardly comes out!
Anyone ever had an issue like this...best way to fix? I thought about connecting to my fill station to blow some co2 back in maybe losten whatever it may be.
Thanks guys!

You sure its not a faulty ASA or something wrong with the valve? Have you tried the tank on more than 1 marker? in-case it's the marker. Just brainstorming.

sounds like the pin might be jammed. look at the tip on the tank, and add a drop of oil,..
carefully, wiggle the pin to ge tthe oil in there,.. and try attaching and unattaching it,.. or attach ur remote, and turn ur knob up and down.

Very sure...tried it on a number of markers with and without the remote line. Even tried attaching just the remote line and opened the line a little...all it did was hiss!

I'll tried that again brock...maybe ill place a little oil on the tip area and then try screwing it in a marker to see if that helps!
Any other ideas guys! The tank is in good shape and still in hydro...hate to waste it!

Let the oil soak in for a decent length of time, first. (1/2 hour-ish) Then try it a few times to work it loose?
If all else fails, can you get the valve replaced?

I know you're not supposed to use oil on HPA tanks. Don't think I've heard anything about C02 tanks, though.
Here's a reference thread on TechPB about not using oil on your HPA tank. Another on PBNation.
And finally...

What marker SY?
have you checked the hole in the ASA? maybe some dirt or similar is lodged in the hole (some times there is a screen/filter in there and can get clogged easily)

Got it working...put a little oil on the top...screwed it on to my sons 98 custom and let it set for a few hours...screwed it off and on a few times and WHAMMMO! Working like new. I think the cold temps may have affected it. Thanks guys!

Glad to hear SY. Didn't realise the "oil in an HPA tank" risk. Glad you worked it loose.

Sounds like the pin inside the valve just lodged itself to the side abit? And when you screwed it in & out a few times(no pun intended) it just freed it up. Might be an idea to get it checked though mate?
