Gramps Update

I have been on but real active lately so I thought I would fill you all in on what has been going on for me.

First off my daughter and 2 granddaughters have moved in for awhile, noting like having 2 little ones both under 2 to destroy a house lol.
Secondly I was trying for a new postion at work and I got it, the title is Safety, Sanitation and Training Supervisor. I will start it sometime after the 11th of June, which brings me to the last thing going on. On the 11th I am scheduled for surgery, I have a hernia that needs to be repaired so after the doc releases me I start my new job.

I do have a game this Saturday where I will get to use the new Contour Roam camera that my daughter won for me, so look out for new game videos in the very near future. Going to use it as a gun game along with my midland cam as a helmet cam. LOoking forward to trying it out.
That is all for now I will keep you updated on things.

Sounds great!!.....except the hernia and surgery part, but good luck with that!

I am sure that everything will be fine for me, one good thing about it all is that I make so much money that the hospitals financial aid dept is going to cover 100% of my surgery.

Will start training for the new job after I go back to work. Alot of it I know or at least have an idea about, from what I understand about it I will be in charge of the sanitation of the plant, training people and safety issues. I already have experience in traing and have a number of certificates from Oregon OSHA as well taking a course thru the company for (get this) Applied Baking Technology.

As far as the surgery goes the Doc said I should be up and around right away, just have to take it easy for a couple of says. Should be in and out the same day.

Gramps...congrats buddy! I know when we spoke during the colleg championships you spoke of applying...awesome you got it brother!

I applied for a new position a month ago...nothing yet! But Mayo is slower than molasses in January.

Update for you all, my surgery was today, checked in at 7:45 and was home by about 11:30, all I really remember is lying there and then being wheeled out of the recovery room lol. Still a bit spacey, my daughter tried to ask for money but I am not that spacey, lol. All seemed to go well, thou I was warned not to do any paper signing because I may not remember any of it tomorrow.
At least I survived my first surgery.
Cant wait to get cleared by the doc and go back to work and sling paint again lol.

Good catch gramps...unfortunately they block weebly from work computers so not able to edit it...I'll do that Thursday at home.
