Dunk maybe offline for 3 weeks.....FRESH UPDATE.

OK so as we've been arranging bits & bobs for moving into our new flat.
And bottom line is....

Good news

I rang SKY about getting broadband & TV at the flat.
They're goona do a full install on our flat on moving day.
So I should be online from the 13th June-ish.
Should be faster speed too...

Bad news :|

For some reason they said they've gotta cut off my internet at this address very shortly.
No idea why, but apparentley we wont get a free router otherwise......hhhmmm
I think it'd make us eligable for some kind of offer or somehing.
And we're getting the dish & everything fitted for FREE.

So basically I may be offline alot more, if my interblob cuts out.
I'll try and stay active on my phone, but from the 28th of this month.
I'm going to be mega busy decorating n that.

Times n that..........

Keys for flat on 28th.

Decoting n working....pretty much till moving day

12th June.....Moving day (vans all booked now).
Paintball gear all safely packed away....

13th June.....Should be nice an active again.



So there ya go....I'm kinda looking forward to it all.
I like decorating n painting n that sooo......... should be fun.
Just gonna be alot of work as I'm going to be decorating n working non stop till moving day.
And sleeping on a camp bed w sleeping bag in the flat then going straight to work n back for about a week too.

So I'll be staying online as much as I can, till my interblob dies.

And the flats closer to the Yorkshire Paintball Centre too.

That sucks but you gotta take the good with the bad...too bad we can't text back and fourth...lol the rates would.probably kill us....anyways im glad you and yours got a new place....you'll be missed around only tho its just for 3 weeks....

Well like I said guys,

It hasn't been cut off yet.
And my phone does have interblob....it's just extremley pants.....OMFG...so slow...haha.
But from the 28th its.....!!ACTION STATIONS!! :pale: :pale: for me.
But I'll definetley be back, once my PC's & routers all hooked back up n that.
And they did say that apperentley is faster speeds where were moving too aswell.

WHooooHoooo! Takes pics of the place while you are gone from us! I havent been on as much as normal due to so much work both at home and at work. Im trying to get on and look at the site as much as I can from my phone though.

I'm gonna take "before & after pics" of every room for when I'm un-packed...haha
We're masters at house moving now.
Normally have everything nearly unpacked by the end of move day.

Still haven't sealed the deal on a living room carpet yet either.

I gotta take Thursday off so, Kim's grandad died in hospital. ...bowels failed, then he died of heart failure whilst having a scan.
Kim had gone up to hospital to see him too, but were told he'd be half an hour whilst having it.
So her and her sister who went to see him, nipped down to the cafe to get a cuppa.
Came back up and he'd died.
She never got to see him till.......afterwards.
She's coped with it suprisingly well, probably cos of the move too.
But he was 85....so he had a long life n that.

So she's gotta funeral to go to, ehile I have the little gremlin/son.
But then it'll be back on with the decorating n that.

Nice to know, I'll be missed. :)
I wont be gone long.

And I think we was all expecting it, he's been pretty poorly for sometime & was 85 so he had a good life.
And I work for a flooring distributor doing their security....lol....kinda.
So I'm trying to get a carpet on the cheap side if pos.
I asked one of the managers about a specific one on Friday night....so...
I'm gonna give him a ring on Monday night, when he's back in & I should find out if I can have it or not........& for what price.

Quick update peeps.
Loads of work still to do in my new pad.
Including some structural work in the living room.....great. :pale:
Work have let me Have that carpet for £65!! BARGAIN should be over £200.
Havent even started painting yet.
Still doing all the messy work.
I took some before pics though.
So I'll do a before n after, when I've done. :)

Another update on "The world of Dunk"

The structural stuff was.......When I stripped all the wallpaper off the living room, I noticed a crack above the large window.
When I took all the paper off, I could see it was HUGE!!!
Theres a section about 8-10 feet wide '& about 2 foot high where the plaster was majorly coming off.
And we're not talking a little but the whole area, and it was deep too (about 1 foot in)
Too deep to be just plaster.
It is VERY DODGY.
So I've had a surveyor out to it a couple of days ago & it should be getting repaired early next week, needs some brick work fixing too.

Other than that, I've just been major busy, putting in every spare second of my free time into riding the 5 miles to the flat & just cracking on with it.
I've had to repair door frames that where hanging off, fix taps that didn't work.
Got Jakes new radiator fitted in.
Used a tonne of plaster n filler as the walls were shocking.
It's amazing what you find once you strip a place down to it's bare bones.
But yeah, work is progressing & I'm slowly getting there, so should still be on shedule for the big move & my interblobski bits installing.

The front door lock uses laser cut keys too....which are very cool.
But also very expensive to get cut, if any get broke or lost.

I also got gloss paint splatters on my survival braclet too.
Wasn't a happy bunny.
But managed to get it all off. :)

So thats it for now folks.....
