| Hi all! I'd been out of paintball for several years, when my son found a mask and brass eagle POS at a thrift store and decided he's ready to get shot at. Well, when I dug out my old marker (ICD Puma) it wouldn't recock. I took it to an airsmith to have it looked at, when my wife said the most beautiful seven words a woman can say to a man: "Why don't you get a new marker?" (For you young unmarried types, the proper response is "I love you.") Went with the ABT and remote line because it feels like a real rifle- I can't stand the airtank on the bottom of the grip and not having a forestock- both things I loved about my Puma. Wound up here looking for upgrade advice and got inspired to do so'me painting. So as a "Thank You!" for the vast reservoir of information and inspiration, Here's my ABT: TL;DR I'm new, Awesome wife bought me an ABT, Found forum, Painted marker. | |

| First off, that marker looks awesome. Second, welcome to the forum.
And as far as the foregrip stuff, I personally managed to put some holes in my AB Shroud before I realized the right thing to do, buy a Salvo or RIS shroud if you want a foregrip. I know Paintball Discounters is having a sale on the Custom Products Shroud that you can bolt rails onto. You can get the shroud and adapter for the barrel (gotta have it in order for the shroud to fit on right) for like $28.00 then find some Picatinny rails and it might end up costing you less than buying the Salvo shroud outright, and you can make a more custom look if you like. | |
