Hey again guys, been on qute the training schedule for the past year. Now going on another deployment in a few days. And it hit me....I had forgotten all my brothers on the Alpha Black Forums!!! So i'm stopping by to let you guys know i'm still doing good, and safe and sound. So....here's a little view as to a few of the things i've been doing over the last few months.
Training in Hawaii
Sub Lockout training on a Virginia Class Submarine
Taking pic's at over a mile away
Training in no mans land lol (Hawaii big island)
And this little video we did, when we got bored while on the range....If you are/were in the military you will get how funny this actually is...

Well i was back briefly, I'm getting on ship tomorrow and heading off on another deployment. With little to no access to the internet, so I'll be back once I'm back. Shouldn't be too long, this one is "fairy dusted" quite a bit anyways.

Good to see you back in the world. You goin 1st Civ Div you say? Welcome home, Semper Fi.
I found it interesting to see how many of your guys had suppressors on there rifles. We had them when I was in, but they were few and far between. Be nice to see everyone have one.
I see no one guessed which person in the pic was you. Let's get that going again. I have seen to many of your pics on Facebook, so it would be to easy for me. I'd like to see how long it takes everyone else to figure out which one is you.

Yep KCCO. and yeah, we havn't really taken that many more platoon pics. we are doing some training with 1st of the 1st right now. and thats my last hooyah before i get out. but yes 1st Civ Div 2nd Couch Bn is my next destination. As for supresors, everyone in the platoon has one, and we also have the new IAR's (the "replacement" for the SAW). we actually still take both. But i swear by that gun now. Aarugah

1st of the 1st is a great group to work with. Worked with them a couple of times. Doesn't seem like it's been long enough for you to be getting out already.

the war is over, and i doubt anything is going to be happening with N Korea. so i'm getting out and continuing my education. if another war pops off, then i'll go back in.

I went on the U.S.S. Alabama the other day and a submarine. The ship wasn't bad but the entrance to each room on the sub was way too small for me to deal with it.

Ya a few of my buddies that are still in complain about Chuck Fridays all the time. We never wore Chucks, not even on Duty. Leave it to a POG Commandant to think it was a good idea.
Other than inspections, I think I wore my greens a whole 4 times in 8 years. Those were Boot Camp, and when reporting to a new unit, and once when we got a boot Butter Bar in that thought he was hot shit. I called a Chuck inspection so he could see who he was dealing with, my most boot LCpl had at least 6 ribbons compared to the LT's 1. Changed his tune real quick.
I only wore my Blues for the Ball or when someone got married. Blues were awesome for picking up chicks.

I was wearing them when we hooked back up again, so yup. For background, we dated in High School. I ran back into her at a wedding while home on Terminal Leave.

That's good news bro. 3 best days of the Marine Corps. Day I graduated Boot Camp. Day I made it into Recon. Day I got my DD214's in hand and was officially out of the Corps. I kind of miss it sometimes, but was glad to come home.
