First two day scenario

First two day scenario coming up this weekend. Any advice on what to bring and what I need to know?

Also if anyone has some advice of playing at night please let me know because this will definitely be new.

Envil..that sounds totally awesome! Never played a might game but it sounds Ike a lot of fun. The only advice I can offer is make a checklist of everything you going to need and check and double check it!

I would also do a google search on night game tactics as well...you might get some hits.

First off congrats!

Having not been able to attend a big scenario myself yet, I can only give some advice of what I would bring when I do.

I will try to break it up by type for you.

Marker(s): Of course you need your main marker-Make sure you go over things and make any repairs that may be needed.

Back-up marker if you have one.

O-Rings-I would recommend plenty of tank rings and at least one if not two complete rebuild sets

Hydro pack-make sure you stay hydrated on the field, small snacks, things like power bars, granola bars, think healthy for them, try to stay away from things like candy bars and the like, they will give a quick engery burst but you will pay for it later.

I also recommend powerade or gatorade as well.

An extra set of clothes, as well as extra pairs of socks, keep your feet dry and you will find you do alot better.

Try to think of what you will use and then think of old Mr. Murphy, what ever can go wrong, will! So plan on that fact, lol.

Playing at night, no laser sights, 1) many fields dont allow them and they will give away your position quicker than anything. If you have one or can get one a tactical light that you can mount on your marker where you can turn it on easy or use a pressure switch, that way you can turn it on and off as needed, remember if you can see them then they will probably see you as well.

One thing that alot of people forget is to use your ears, listen and move slowly if you can, also when scanning the area move your eyes slowly and keep your head still, the human eye is drawn to movement, the slower you move the harder it would be to see you.

The main thing is to remember to have fun and learn from what you do. Prepare and plan and go over all of your gear at least 2 weeks before and then double check one week before.

I am sure that I will think of others things that I can add later and the others here will have lots of great advice as well.

One thing not to forget is the camera for all the pics to show us!

Here are a few I found:

If you can, use a yellow or amber lens. These lenses manipulate light so that it is easier to see in poorly lit areas. Don't use a tinted or mirrored lens.
Elevate yourself in a high traffic area. A tree would be nice, but make sure they don't have a rule against it.

Depending on your style of play:

Stay very very still, do not shoot unless you're SURE they're shooting you, and that you can hit them.

A flash light could be used as a decoy/trap, leave it where they can find it, and make sure your fire is well masked. If you can even have a buddy at 45-60 degrees away from you, you can confuse the target by open different firing lanes.
Example: You're at 12 o'clock you're buddy is at 8 or 4. 10 and 2 Is acceptable.

And before you start (if your eyes havn't adjusted) close your eyes for 1 minute and avoid light.


I've also heard that some guys have tied their flashlights to a branch...turned it on and then concealed themselves...the opposition comes along...thinks its another player and BAM...you take them out!

DONT GET LOST. map the field during the day, and walk it at least 2 times.ESPECIALLY if you know where ur night stuff will be.

bring a small first aid kit along. even if its just antiseptic wipe, and gauze...

unless u have need for that scope/bipod/ tacticool gear,.. leave it behind. its a LONG night and that bipod makes ur gun heavier. Look cool during the day if u must, but at night, be functional, and light.

camelback is a plus

I appreciate the advice guys. Luckily I will be rolling with a pretty experienced team that do night games also. I have a small LED flashlight from walmart with the switch on the back so I'm considering zip tying it to the hand guard of my AB right before we go out. I'm still trying to figure out the hydration system. I've tried a camel pack with my vest and I didn't work too well. I'm considering a squeeze type bottle that I could put instead of one of my pods or bring a small gatorade bottle or two and put it in my front mag pouches.

I have another question. I have an adaptor so I can screw my apex on at any time. The problem is the longer barrel cuts down my maneuvering. Would it be good to bring it with me on the field in a mag pouch or something (I have 3) and if it is needed in a distance firefight I could unscrew my barrel tip and screw the apex on? I with I had a small backpack like the military uses to put all this small extra stuff in.

Pretty good video sy. I think I'm kinda lucking out that theres a pretty full moon this weekend. Hopefully with that I won't have to point my muzzle at someone.

Yeah...I never thought of the handheld as well as the gun mounted...there are times that you could use that handheld to lure the opposition in...i.e. tying it to a twig/small tree.

I'm regretting not buying a second. I think we are going to try to find a high traffic area and lay low and pick people off
I did find a small cheap camo backpack that I'll be bringing a bunch of small stuff and some snack and my hydro. I'm feeling pretty confident.

Have you got time to get yourself a tac light with pressure switch.
Having the option to turn it on in a split second could help you with the night games.
Are they going to be using tracer PB's? or just regular ones for the night game.

Whatever you use, it sounds like you'll have a wicked time.
We want pics and vids of the action if you can bud.
Try promoting ABP a little too.

Just got back from the weekend event and it was awesome. The night game was really cool although me and my friend shot most of our team lol. Most people there said to shoot anybody and if you didn't answer back we lit them up. It was really fun though. We escorted a guy into a building and he tomahawked 6 players lol.

As for the day games it was really cool. It felt like playing multiplayer or cod because every game was from the game. The one awesome moment for me was when these guys were firing on us from out of bounds so I snuck off into the woods and got writhing about 15 feet of one and started firing on him. I felt like a sniper.

One other thing I thought y'all love is we got perks. They gave everyone a little something. We had grenades, crossbow, law rockets, attack dogs, tactical knives and tomahawks, and ramping modes. And each team had a tank :)
We won almost every game and the scenario as a whole and the team I ran with got most valuable team and our captain got mvp

As an ending note if this doesn't all make sense I'm on my phone so my bad.

I have a pic of me and my friend right before we walked out to play. But they had a photographer out there taking pics on the second day and as soon as I fight those I can either post some or post the link of here for y'all. I would have loved to but I didn't want to bring out my new phone since I haven't been able to get a case yet.
