Here's a couple of youtube vids on how to polish your internals. Have fun & be careful. Remember, don't polish it too much, or it'll affect your accuracy. Just do it enough, to give it a nice shine, then stop.
Polishing your internals gives you a much more consistant velocity & inreases the life of your O-Rings too. It's well worth the effort.
Brillo pad method.
Dremel method.

I did this with very fine grit sandpaper, and it worked just fine.

It doesn't really matter dude. Aslong as they're polished up.
I only painted it, so I can drool over it, if I have to dismantle it.
