On to the repair pics
cut some 1/4" plastic to brace the magazine feed part of the box mag also "smeared" jb weld on the hair line cracks themselves for some added strength
screwed the smaller pieces to the inside of the magazine feed
the bigger pieces of plastic screwed to the outside of the housing
the outside pieces act as a filler to stop the magazine from moving side to side because this is the weak part of the whole setup...nice one RAP4...those same piece have a dual function..it keeps the housing in place...its alot STRONGER than it was
now the magazine part is actually screwed to the box itself..
and 2 new screws at the bottom...
i used epoxy to put the feed neck back together
smeared JB weld on all the connecting points for added strength
Then after some drying time..the box mag was put back together and tested..
