Without Star Wars the Sci Fi world would be a bleak land of Poki Mon toons lol. I think Star Wars is my all time fave hence my Undying love for EVE Online.

Couldn't really beat your second post Storm... The Angriest Angel was my favorite episode from Above and Beyond... Up there with the moment the Klingons show up to help defend DS9 from the Dominion.
But you are correct, 1995 really wasn't ready for that.

Nobody can beat Firefly and/or the NEW Battlestar Galactica in my eyes.

Oh hell yeah, forgot about BSG. That's the nostalgia effect of A&B. Which was your favorite?

Honestly there was an ep in Season 3 that I thought was the best episode of the entire series of BSG bar none and that was the ep where they finally explained what happened between Starbuck and Apollo to have them at odds with each other, which they explained while they were duking it out in the boxing ring. Jamie Bamber (Apollo) and Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck) did such a hell of a job showing the emotion of the entire situation while beating the hell outta each other (in script of course)

Storm, pre-me watching Firefly I'd have agreed with you. Post that, sorry, I'm a Browncoat my friend...It says something when even BSG puts a reference to Firefly in one of it's episodes (the Serenity from Firefly appeared on the mini-series of BSG's first ep.

Just seen this thread.
Now these have to be the coolest vehicles out of ANY scifi flick or series.
Anyone who disagrees needs to seriously get their eyes tested. :)
I really liked the new Tron film, just wish they'd filmed it with 3D cameras instead of using 3D software for the 3D release. Would look better on my TV then. :)
And my fave Sci-fi flicks are....
Blade Runner....of course. The Matrix trilogy....originality Dune....obviously The running man.....classic arnie, original film. Conan the barbarian....gotta love the theme tune Serenity....to keep Gramps happy LOTR trilogy. Alien and Aliens....rest are crapola. Terminator 1, 2 & Salvation....Number 3 sucked b*lls. Back to the future......Classic 80's sci-fi :) Predator....Just the first one with Arnie.....2 was OK cos of the new weapons, but the scripting was a little cheesy. Total Recall....very original plot-line and brilliant directing. The fifth element...Original, brilliantly written, brilliantly acted and its got Gary Oldman in it. :)

And you've just gotta love the first thing Marty says here. Anyone who's seen BTTF instantly recognises this scene. :)
"Wait a second Doc." "Are you telling me, you built a time machine out of a Delorean ?"

I forgot to add the original Starwars films to my list. Only the original ones though. Before George Lucas buggered up the whole history of the films by adding..... "The midi clorians factor".
I mean seriously WTF?!?!? In the originals the reason certain people can use the force was all mysterious n that.
Then he decides that it's cos they've got little bugs inside they're bodies!!!!!!
Mr Lucas needs a good ol slap for that.
And for casting Hayden Christensen as Anakin. My left butt cheek could act better than him.
Sorry for the DP mod's. :)

Forget the casting of Hayden Cardboard Christensen or the midi-chlorians...
What he really needs stoning for is Jar-Jar bloody Binks!!
"Isa Speak...." *KA-BOOM!* Not anymore Jar-Jar.

Number one of my fave BSG episodes that one... You think it's all over but as the camera pans out from the Galactica getting laid into by (i think it was 4) Basestars... Suddenly one missile trails in, then a second. Camera cuts away and you see the Pegasus storming in, all of it's point weapons firing at will... then the first missiles hit, taking a Basestar in the midsection before it can even react, breaking in half and taking out the one next to it as it flies apart.
When I first saw that it had me punching the air.
