I've been looking at paintball landmines. After looking at a few different ones, and seeing how they work, I'm thinking I might be able to go to a hardware store, pick up some parts, and build my own. Has anyone ever tried this before? Have you had any success?

Hey thanks Gramps. I might try this out and see how it works. If I can, I'll try to get it done before Saturday. I think I'm going out to my field tomorrow and set up some more bunkers. If the weather cooperates, we might play Saturday and I can test it out then.

This is good stuff. It tells you everything you will need, has pics, and goes through everything step by step.

Can always see what kind of interest there is an dif needed only make them as people order them, do it as custom, a down payment to cover expenses and the remainder when they are ready to ship. Shipping to our norhtern brothers may not be that hard, I would call or write Canadian Customs and then you can alway sship them disassemlbeld too

I've started collecting what I need to make one of these. I've got almost everything except for the canister. I'm thinking I might have to substitute something for it. While in the kitchen, I noticed a peanut butter container and was thinking it just might be crazy enough to work. I'm hoping it's durable enough, plus it won't cost me anything. There is another hardware store here that I'm going to check out today, but if there's no luck there I'm trying out the peanut better container...Unless somebody else has a better idea.

I got one of these made, and I tested it out yesterday. Success! I'll try to post a video later today.

Below is the step by step I followed. Mine is a little different but not much. My parts were white, so I'm painting them right now. I've got it drying outside. I hope a bird doesn't s*** on it. Whenever I'm done, I'll try to get a video up.
