PostSubject: Interesting RPS paint size   Interesting RPS paint size EmptyFri Apr 13, 2012 11:35 am

Those who use barrel kits may have noticed lately that paint has been getting smaller for the past couple of years. I know I have. I bought some DXS paint last year that was falling out of my .679 Freak back.

I went to my local paintball shop last night and picked up a case of RPS Premiums, and a bag of RPS Marbs just to try out.

The girl at the shop told me that RPS went back to there old formula, which was better, but cost a little more. If your Premiums have a Mettalic shell, then you have the new stuff.

So I measured 10 of each type of paint just now, fully expecting to see .681 or smaller. But the paint measured out at .688 to .690 using my Hammerhead bore sizer.

Anyone else notice this?

You don't have to, unless you are using a barrel kit.
