| OP- Tuflehundon I have been wanting to do this for a while, and with the ALpha being down for the holidays, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. For those who don't have an ETrigger yet and don't know, it can be a pain in the butt to replace the battery on the ETrigger for an Alpha Black, Project Salvo, or even a 98. There just isn't much room in the grip for everything that you have to cram in there with the ETrigger. When the BT TM15 came out, it had a battery compartment in the magazine, and got me wondering. Turned out, it wasn't even all that hard. There is enough extra room in the marker for the wires to run without touching any of the moving parts. You just have to be willing to mod your recievers with a dremel. Here is a pic of my clamshell before I did any cuts: One thing to remeber, is there are a lot of internal parts, and if you are new at this or not familiar with it, you might want to take a picture of it before you strip the internals. I then took my dremel, and cut away the channels so I could run my wires: It was that simple. I didn't get a picture of it, but once I ran the wires, I glued them into place with a hot glue gun. That will keep them from rubbing anything and keep the in place. I also used quick disconnect connectors at the grip end so I could take the ETrigger out of I wanted to: I was surprised, but the hardest thing was making the battery fit into the magazine. It was just a litte to narrow fot it to fit right. So, I took a dremmel to it to. I cannot stress this enouph, go slow with how much plastic you take off with the dremmel. You can make it fit without cutting all the way through, but you do have to take off quit a bit of plastic. I pretty much had to flush out the inside of the mag: Remember to leave enouph extra wire to be able to take the mag out when you change the battery. It fits in there like a glove, and doesn't even move around at all. Battery changes are super easy. And there are no wires visible when you put it together: I also did this to a friends A5. Eecept I put the battery compartment on the bottom of the cyclone feed, as he didn't have a mag. He got the battery compatment at Radio Shack for around $3. Both work well. Happy Moding | |

It really is an easy mod. It seems to help you Egrip to since the wires aren't so crapped up in the grip.

| Honestly I found once I had it in there for a while that I didn't use the quick disconnect at all in there. You could just skip that part and solder the wires together. | |

| Just take the wires out. They are not permanently attched, they just sit behind the trigger | |

Once you take the stufff out of your PMag, the battery should fit without any mods. I ended up with a PMag on mine.

| Speaking of Pmags, do tools fit into it with the battery? I was thinking of getting one, gutting it, and taping the tools together so the wouldn't rattle around, but would everything fit or no? | |
