| Pohang Korea was a blast. Did you guys did the ROK Marines mountain warfare school? That was pretty awesome. My favorite event there was getting 20 one dollar bills. The cab ride from camp rat-turd to town was $10 and normally a 20 minute ride. So well tell the cabbies that here us their fare and for every minute over 10 well throw out the window a dollar hence their tip shrinking. It's like real life crazy taxi. |

We were not in Pohang for too long. We did do some training with the ROK Marines. We traded a bunch of stuff with them like cammies and all sorts of other stuff. Maybe it was just me, but did those guys seem pretty touchy feely to you? One time we were showing them how our mortars worked. We were all kind of standing around getting a class and I noticed a lot of the ROK Marines were holding hands. I don't think they were gay or anything, probably just their culture, but I'd say it was a little different to see that.

Yeah we did get it. Kicking a dragon in the nuts. That's great! I'm going to start telling people that's why I got it. I could also tell people my humanitarian medal is for mastering the judo chop. Some of the coolest guys I met were the British Royal Marines. Funny guys.

I am a Reconnaissance Marine, unfortunately have only done the 31st MEU due to 3RDs lack of deployment to Afghan. Not really sure how to explain what i do? uh...workout, swim and take pictures seems to be the "popular" explanation lol!
Stories? Eh nothing that great well atleast compared to some of the older guys.
