Been trying to build one for a couple of years. But with the Wife getting sick last year, and crap that keeps happening, I hadn't been able to do it. Built my lower last year, and was going to build my upper, and the panic hit so you could not get any parts.

Well, I had a friend that does reloading that needed some walls built at his shop, so I bartered with him and he built my upper and is giving me some ammo for building the walls for him.

Spec list:
Spikes Lower
MagPul: UBR stock, MIAD grip, MBAD lever, and trigger guard
HiperTouch HiperFire 24C trigger
RRA lower parts kit

Spikes Upper
Spikes Full Auto BCG
BCM Gunfighter Mod4 charging handle
Samson Evolution 15" rail
MagPul MVG (front grip)
FN CHF 20" heavy barrel

And topped it of with a Burris Tac30 1x4 BDC (Bullet Drop Compensation) optic.

Only thing is the upper was painted before. I will likely strip the paint off eventually.

Nice! That set up looks like it would work great with a bipod for popping coyotes and varmints at distance.

I have my lower chucked up in the mill right now and will finish it out Sunday. One of the guys here building one has a RRA lower kit. It's much smoother than my Bushmaster LPK.

I was actually impressed with the trigger that came with the RRA LPK. If I wasn't shooting competitions with it I would have kept that trigger. The one I have has a 2lb pull and hardly any take up or reset.

One of the reasons I added the long free float rail is so I could run a bipod in front of the forward grip without it getting in the way. I'll have one on there after the holidays. Christmas for the Fam takes priority over toys for me for now. But I think my Wife may be getting me a bipod for Christmas.

I will be adding a bipod and flashlight to her pretty soon as well. Bumps me up to open, but it's worth it

Cool!
I finished up my new lower and will be hunting with it all this week. I'll get some pics posted Sunday.
