The cyclone is worth the money, it will insure a ball is fed every time (as long as you have paint in it lol).
I have been using mine for close to 2 years and in that time I have not had a single chop or even a barrel break. The cyclone is easier on paint especially if you use soft paddles in it.
Again well worth the investment for one.

Just a brief breakdown for ya,.. the stock gravity feed is ok. itll do what you need it to do most times. The problems you will run into is misfires due to paintballs bunching up at the feedneck.

you could buy agitated hoppers, but they cost about the same as a Cyclone, and then you have to mind your batteries. and their loud sometimes.

cyclone feed is like a gumball dispenser. it locks in 3 paintballs ahead of your shot. then it basically rotates, sweeping the next preloaded ball into line. With a wider neck, its unlikely to jam, and almost guarantees that a ball will be ready at all times.

it doesnt need batteries, and uses minimal air from your gun when you fire. Its easy to install, and if you cant figure it out, theres a how to and were all glad to help.

So if I have a cyclone and I turn my marker to the side I can fire those three paintballs that are locked in?

first,.. its 3 between the cyclone and the chamber.you can fit 4 more on the paddles, so all told you will have around 7 set in place, and the paddle spins each trigger pull, which replaces the used paintball.

what keeps them in place is the weight of the other paintballs and gravity, so if you tip it its usually ok. realistically at some point,.. if you only have 10 rounds, and your upside down, you wont get any shots off.

still with me?
