ABP YouTube channel

Hey guys,
First off we've some news for all our members & we need your help.

We are going to be setting up a dedicated Alpha Black Paintball channel.
With the main content being Quarterly ABP News videos relating to any recent paintball news & products. (Thoughts on the said products & news & more).

The other main purpose of these videos is to discuss all news related to our beloved site & its members and mods.
Things like...new site features or products/ members birthdays/ funniest posts/ MOTM winners etc.

What you can do.....

We need suggestions guys.
Ideas for content,  possible features, if you think something or someone deserves special mention in a video etc etc etc..

So please feel free to use the rest of this topic for your suggestions and ideas guys.
All ideas & suggestions will be seriously considered so get posting.

We'll keep you updated.

Ideas seems that you have most of it covered, might want to consider a bio video of members as well, just an idea.

Well I figured that it will be paintball related discussion and news, so why not, lol.

Dunk, on the bio thing, how bout since Brock has revived MOTM, when somebody wins MOTM there's a bio done on them and their marker? Or maybe in the quarterly thing you give a bit of time to each of the recent winners of MOTM?

That is a really good idea.
Instead of just acknowledging the winner or winners. 
Give a bit of history on their markers. ...me like.

  i like the idea but thats a commitment of time. Monthly. we would need video of the person and their marker to edit,..

my job to see the holes,.. still doable, but itd be a lot on the winner. youd have to do most of the video work.

Not necessarily. 
We could just give a brief description of what they've done to it, along with a pic of it that maybe flys into the screen then out again.
We don't have to insert actual vid of it being fired etc.

We could go either way, depending on the winner. I would be willing to take a few minutes and do a short video of my marker in action for something like that. Plus many of us already have vids up that can be used as well. My 2cents lol

i always assume its going to be me doing the work. I do so for 2 reasons.

1. If anything (or anyone) falls through, itll end up being me anyways. Its in the job description.
2.I dont assume someones going to volunteer. Usually no one does, and I dont want to make an ass out of u and me

here's an idea, as an example of what we're talking about, how bout you do the entire 1st profile on yourself and your marker or on Brock and his? Just throw it out there to see how it goes over. 

I can tell ya I'd be down for doing a review of Battlezone II Paintball in Mansfield OH for a video if you wanted.

That would be pretty cool to have short vids of local paintball fields with somebody's AB in action along with a brief show & tell on who and what.

I'd have to get some $$$ together to get an on gun camera. Even if all I did was maybe see about doing a review and a quick field walk of each of the fields?

Update: I contacted Battlezone and am awaiting a reply on the idea of doing a video field review.

Well intro vid for the Series is done & awaiting Brocks (inevitable approval)...I hope.
Inevitable cos it's BADA$$ !

So yeah, vid numero uno is under way, will keep you all updated on progress & when it gets uploaded. 
And don't forget to check out the other vids on the ABP youtube channel too.

And yeah...any vids you think could contribute to the series.
Send it mine or Brocks way & we'll see about editing them in.

I've discovered FB messenger is a good way to msg decent size vids.
That's probably going to be easiest way to get the vids to us in HD before we edit them in.
Just s thought,  cos I know some email attachments are restricted by filesize.

I'll get some video this Sunday. It'll be an apple I5 held on top the gun. Hopefully it doesn't get splattered too bad!

Dunk, that was EPIC. professional. the middle could be about 3 seconds or so shorter,..like the spin in and out, but thsts such a minor criticism,.. AMAZING. im so jelly of your skills.

Thats why we should tag the crap out of em too.
They say the key to getting big view counts is networking the vid & picking clever tag combos.
And they will go searching for it once they've seen episode 1........hopefully.

Currently making a couple more very short animated FX cut scenes, to represent changes in topic....  eg..    motm winner, mag fed moment etc.

Has Stingray got a firing test video on youtube or anything?
Would like about 3 to 5 secs worth if pos please.

So far it's coming along nicely brothers.
Pleade be patient as this is the very first vid, so Ihave to create all these little intro's & cut scenes etc...but once I've made them, they will be re used in the other episodes too.

So the first episode was always going to take the longest to make.
Can't rush art.
