| So, this is what happens when I get bored. I make stuff. Random stuff, usually, but sometimes it ends up being a really helpful creation. For instance, I was sick of wearing ACUs or BDUs with BT digicam. So, add some duct tape and velcro, and ta dah! You have an easy on/off pattern for whatever gear you have! :) Also, modified 2 horizontal airsoft magazine pouches to seat vertically on a belt and also fit a Tiberius magazine or 2-3 ten round tubes. Here, we have a drop-leg utility pouch. Used to be a camera bag, now makes a great holder for nearly anything I want to carry on the field (keys, wallet, grenade, barrel condem, etc.) And finally, we have what I consider my masterpeice. I'm most proud of this peice. Made completely from materials I had laying around the house. :) Didn't cost me but $2 for a lashing strap from Wally World. Very secure and functional. | EXCELLENT Bro!
I just bought a new Condor Chest Rig with Hydration pouch to replace my full vest. The only problem is, is that my current pistol holster will not attach because it is velcro backed with snaps and is supposed to fit the vest. Well....Ill be taking care of that soon enough! My plan is to detach the holster from its velcro backing and then fabricate molle straps so it will be a chest holster for my new rig. Instead of straps though I may go with side release buckles instead...we will see! | |
