SEPT MOTM SUBMISSIONS

Well its time to do this once again but this time im changing it up some..lets call it the "dress-up" motm...in other words put your gear on and take a pic :) Simple enough? Oh and BTW it has to be an outside pic if you're gearing up..i'll also accept marker + gear if you are camera shy...but it has to be reasonably creative :)

Arson will be taking the submissions...so PM your pics to him...if you need a spot reserved then a temp pic will suffice until you have an actual :) You have till Friday to submit....voting starts Saturday :)

I was going to go in for this one but been busy with my editing.
And now it's been raining for 3 days solid, so I cant get outside to take my motm pic.
Or film the last 6 scenes of my movie.....ggrrrrrr!!!!

Interblobs been off for a week too, thats why I've been in-active BTW.
I'll have to enter next months now.

I think MOTM is in for a change if this is the norm......

Because if the submissions is gonna be like this....Im betting the polls are gonna just as bad...i dont know what it is? Could it be the creativity thing?...or maybe i should revert back to the same old boring theme...take pic on the floor..bed..couch...table routine...and another thing....Im disappointed in the lack of participation on here...this is a great forum...im done venting

It should not be about the creativity at all, because....well its MARKER OF THE MONTH
you should take pride that your marker is going in and should take pride in the pic you take

but like i have said before, having a MOTM with just a single base marker will limit
both activity and amount of people that will enter.

You seemed pretty up for it when i mentioned this in the august motm but whatever its only a marker so tables chairs floors beds couches are all fair game as far as a decent background...or we can follow x7og.nets motm format where its all scenario type markers..

No i am saying that the reason people are not posting is not because of the creativity (*add on)
and it shouldn't be about that. you should have pride in your marker and the pic that you enter
rather then a carpet shot with toes in it.....

I love creativity and look at that more then the marker its self at times
if you have a creative photo with a stock AB it will still look better then a modded to hell salvo/Ab/carver
laying on the ground in your room...

I agree, the more creative the pic the better. I was planning on entering this month but I have not had the time to get a picture done, been working 7 days a week lately.
I have seen some great pics of markers that were laid down with a good background along with some of the people holding them too.
All you have to do is use your mind and set it up.

Tips: take 3-4 shots of your marker some with flash and some with out.
Use different angles,
Pick a good background
If possible use daylight (outdoors)

If set up right a cell phone pic can out do a high end camera with no thought put into it.
