Has anyone fitted a MOE shroud to a alpha black??

Hi Guys

Due to some down time from games for the next month or so while enjoying the arrival of my second child I have decided to give my trusty Alpha black a make over (Bravo on in my part of the world but hey)
I am planning on installing a MOE front shroud but cant seem to find any pics of one fitted to our weapon of choice. I know we have lost alot of stuff switching to the new sight just hoping some one will be able to help me out with a walk through as I'm abit new to a none bolt on upgrade.
Also planning on flat top mod with charging handle (any links to charging handles that the mod gods on here favor) just a quick question on this aswell if I plan on doing both the flat top and charging I guess I will need to JB weld a top rail on as from what I have seen the "groove" in the receivers is filled by the charging handle spring so no room to bolt on the rail??
Final mod will be a Magpul replica ACS stock then a new coat of paint to finish it off

I have no idea how to get it on, but just saying, we have the same tastes. I flat-topped and have been procrastinating the charging handle, and I got a Magpul Replica ACS stock on XD.

Just a heads up, with JB weld my rail popped off twice, and that's without even playing with her yet, I need to find a better way to put it on, but I haven't had much time even though it's summer. If you find a better way before I do can you tell me how you did it? If I find a way before you do I'll let you know.


By the way, here's my AB without the charging handle, with the ACS stock and flat-top, Replica MBUS flip-up sights that are on BACKWARDS apparently XD, and a whole ton of JB weld on it that I didn't feel like cleaning up haha, :

Coming from a car background modding my paintball guns was only a matter of time :)

Stock looks good glad I decided on that one still waiting on it to arrive from overseas dont exactly have alot of sellers here in NZ markets alittle small to hold alot of stock. Our local club has 170 members and our club games generally get about 50-60 regular players.

Wanting to get this all setup and running for a 7man milsim tourny we having in November haven't seen anyone else in our club with a custom modded AB/PS if I fail I have my MP5SD A5 as backup :)

I don't think you're the first, I just can't think of someone who did it right now, but I'm sure someone has. That's a good sized club as well, I'm sure you can get everything done by Novemeber as well, it's not that hard to do haha. Can I see your A5 by the way?

set screws hold it to the barrel

I was looking at the moe shrouds too, they're pretty cool how you mount the rails on em etc.
And I bet they paint up nice too.

You can pick up Moe shrouds on eBay for about £20
Or in deneero's about $30-ish me thinks. :)

Yeah Ebay has been my friend all parts on there way just sitting waiting and doing the research before they arrive so I can just get straight into it when they get here.

Yup no problem

OK my shroud and stock have arrived. I've fitted the stock to the buufer tube alittle bit off "wobble" but thats easy to fix.
Now the shroud, been searching online for the "rings,collars,caps" to fit the shroud does anyone have a link to something suitable otherwise might just have to get creative with my stock AB shroud a hacksaw and some glue :)

you can probably find a delta ring from one of many online airsoft stores or you can probably go to lowes or home depot to the pvc plumbing section and something similar..mod it to fit and paint it black to match

ya delta ring, order them from opgears or something similar

or ebay for cheap

I found the opsgear ones but they seem to be discontinued as I cant add them to the cart :s

I'll check out some airsoft ones see what i can come up with
