Just needs the ammo counter now to finish it off.
Love the film and pulse rifles have to be one of the coolest scifi weapons going.
And yeah cos they're proper rifles too, not stupid lasers n that.

Are you going to give it a few battle scars n cosmetic damage?
Need to find some way of emulating the cool sound they make when firing now?
And I think a mag-fed version would be the next logical step for any recreations of it.
Just think, you just finish your clip, bam another in.
The counter resets and you know everyone's just going to be in awwww of it dude.

what you need storm is to record that sound of the pulse rifle shooting
and hook a small speaker to the side of the box
and have a pressure switch behind the trigger so when you press the trigger it will it it
and unleash the sound




this is pretty cool also

That's probably one of the airsoft kits on a real Thompson.

Thanks for the awesome compliment man :) as for the emulating the sound...they do have a sound board (optional) thats connected to the LED board by hyperdyne...i'll probably fore go this...it makes and awesome sound when i turn the RTs ROF up :)...as far as cosmetic damage ...i might sling it around some or use my buddy's thompson airsoft rifle and shoot a round of bbs at it.....

A mag feed version might be in the works if i can get my hands on the AB tacamo kit :)

Actually its a working Hero prop from the movie that fires actual rounds including the shotgun.....they are hard to come by...most are deactivated and still cost around 2 grand

I think you need to do something rather then just paint it

maybe an alien slash or "acid" damage to the body
just to give it character, it looks badass but looks like a grunt just picked it up out of a
air drop ammo box

Thanks man..i'm not sure why they put it on the right side of the gun in the movie lol but i like where its located at on my marker :)...should have it all done by the end of the weekend :)
