What to get? Want to see out of it...

Hey people, as you know when I have money in my pocket, I like to spend...was looking at peoples sights, and realized, "why get a fake one, when I can get a real one for scouting people", so what do you think? Would slapping a scope on my baby with some actual magnification help me play by scouting people out? My field has cities and castles where I can hide easily and look out windows...so has anyone ever done this? And also, what *CHEAP* scope would allow me to see out of it easily with a mask on that actually *DOES* have magnification?? eBay links (since I can order from there pretty much anytime in 2 minutes), or just names would be helpful! Thanks!

ok first of all

WHY would you spend the money on a real scope, that will help you with nothing
other then looks, when you can buy a decent fake one for 1/4 of the price
that will help you with nothing other then looks.....

secondly No mask is gonna allow you to get right up to the scope it self
let alone if your using the stock

thirdly If you have time to sit back to "scout" people, then you should be moving up and engaging the OP4.
unless your entire team is on radios and you know the feild like the back of your hand and so do they, scouting rarely works on a normal day......might work for scenario


save your money to play or for useful stuff for your marker
or just bank what you have and when you really want something then you have the funds to get it

my acog has 4X mag and is put together really good. you can get a good acog from airsoft sites for about the same price as the the two scopes you posted. what you really want to worry about on these kind of scopes is how high they are mounted(rail riser can fix that) and eye relief(distance you aye can be from the lens and still be able to see through the scope). ACOG's have good eye relief for paintball and they're generally tall enough to not be a problem with your mask.

And yes I know, it may not be a good idea to get one, but if I'm gonna already buy a scope for looks, why not get one that works for a little extra? Besides if I only pay like 15 bucks for a scope, I feel like it would break easily haha. And I already have a rail riser .

the airsoft acogs are quality.
4x mag means the object your looking at is magnified 4 times.

where it says "4 x 32" it means that the scope magnifies 4 times and the objective lens(front lens) is 32 millimeters across. "1.5-5 x 32" means that the magnification is adjustable from 1.5 times to 5 times.

Oh okay, was wondering what those numbers meant, so airsoft scopes actually DO magnify? (At least some of them) Yours is this one right?

Mine is very similar to that. That one is a red dot and has no magnification. Mine is just cross hairs and is 4X mag.

Mine is closer to this one in its functioning.

Looks cool, might try to find one cheaper, but at that price, why not get a real one? Know what I mean?

Because real ones cose about $950...

First off, rep to Arson. Good call dude. I changed my mind about one with magnification after thinking about what I wanna do, which is ambush, engage, pursue, and destroy.

But David, if you're going to go with a scope of some kind, go with this one.

NCStar Tactical 3-Rail Sight

It gives you a 4x32 scope in the center with a mil-dot sight picture (helps judge distance to target if you know the mil-dot relation formula) and has rails for you to mount your regular sight on the top, and other stuff like tac lights and such on the sides.

omg- will definitely look at that...and it does look cool, but kinda weird haha! Might try for that one, but I really don't know what I would mount, my red/green dot wouldn't look good on it haha.
