| I have the tape mod 14 inch apex 2 on my project salvo and I put tape on the middle of the barrel to try to keep the shroud from wiggling but it still does. Should I tape apart the shroud then tape the barrel better or is there something to place in between the shroud and gun to hold it? | |

| tape where the shroud contacts the barrel in two places and also if your having any shroud rotation you can take your sling point and move it to the top, where the shroud and the marker meet place it on that line to make the shroud not rotate | |

It doesn't rotate but it wiggles which is really aggravating.

I will think of something up I put tape right behind the Apex tip, rolled some tape up and stuck it in between where the shroud meets and the gun. Then I put the sling adapter where they meet. I didn't put it all the way over because I need that little piece to disconnect the hopper to the gun

| It still has a LITTLE wiggle but it's a lot better than what it was. Thanks for the ideas. I have come to the conclusion that I want a a front grip that has the bipod in it because my marker slipped and smashed the counter about 4 times in 10 minutes lol | |

| I just figured for $12 it ain't bad for a grip and a bipod when needed (mostly to stand my salvo up between games) | |

| Yeah my salvo shroud has the same problem....need to pick up some electrical tape. And Arson, I didn't quite get what you meant about the sling mount thing (Mine doesn't rotate, just curious).... | |

| I don't know if this is exactly what he talks about but I put mine over where my shroud connects to my gun to keep it from moving | |

| Some people were having problems of the shroud rotating a bit even though that lil piece sits in the marker to hold it still so people have used the sling piece over the area where the shroud and body meet just to stop the rotation/give | |

| That's pretty weird, mine doesn't rotate but it does wiggle, maybe I'll try it if the tape doesn't do the job. | |

| I have 1 new salvo shroud I have carver one barrel o rings at the barrel contact points....i have a old salvo shroud no o rings and the end has been hogged out to exept a 14" apex2 without tape mod..(by storm) neither of wich wiggle or rotate very much at all if any........ I would wrap tape around the barrel at the shroud contact points 1 layer at a time till u get it snug |

| I did that eavery to where it barely fits in the shroud but it still had a wiggle. It's a lot better now with 2 contact points

| well thats good to hear at least it fixed some of the problem can you live with the amount of wiggle? if not use a shim (ie piece of cardboard, piece of plastic) cant guarantee it will stay during a game though. | |

| Arson that's kinda what I was using the electric tape for between the shroud and the gun. Basically as a shim to at least keep the shroud from going up and down. The only time I really noticed the wiggle was in between games, I guess because the adrenaline would wear down then, but it still bothered me. At least with getting rid of some of the wiggle it feels a little bit more sturdy. Gives me a little bit more confidence that it wont break it half if I hit something with it. | |

| I dont have the salvo shroud but if it is like the AB one, then it is 2 havles held together by srews. If this is the case loosen up the screws add a bit more tape and tighten the screws down. This may take care of all your wriggle problem. | |
