I'm back, great day, also got some more PB stuff, cheap too.

SO i went around to yard sales today, and the FIRST yard sale I went to, the FIRST thing I saw......BAM!

Tippmann Model 98 (Back-up/loaner ftw)
Mask
4 CO2 tanks
CO2 fill station
2 Harnesses
5 Pods
1 Hopper
And a huge bag to hold it all

I thought, "Hell, I want it"

So i asked and it was a whopping 60 bucks........I bought it.

Oh and btw, I also found the car of my dreams, with low miles, and I'm calling about it on Monday......


ALSO I got my new computer, and I'm feeling much better (WAS sick) SO I'M BACK!

BTW the marker, I didn't even have to swap out the o-rings and it worked great. I had crap paint but it was shooting em good. I only tested it so quickly because one of the CO2 tanks had some air left in em.....

Hmm, was probably going to keep it as a loaner/backup, but I have no idea just yet. I kinda like the little thing haha.

Will if its a GST model then its already turbo charged....if its a GSX model then you get an added bonus with the turbo....all wheel drive :)

i wouldnt bother adding a turbo to a non turbo car...too much money to start with...it would be cheaper and quicker to just do a motor swap

Um i tried putting the stock on, there's a little problem. On the endcap for the 98 there is no lip in a certain spot, so it spins freely, but on the stock there is, which would normally keep it in place. Although with the little bit there, it makes it so the clamshells can't come back together, so I have to mod it. But then if I take out that bit, the stock will be spinning around like crazy, so I have no idea what to do about that yet. And I've already put an upgraded barrel on it, may put the apex2 on it . And right now I've got a halo hopper on it :/. Not bad for it so far .


And yeah I love the frickin' car, the auto guy wanted a little too much money for it, so I'm looking for it in other places. :/. Hoping to get AWD as there are a lot of hills by where I live. By hills I mean the type of hill below :/

And how much does it cost to turbocharge it? I thought engine swap would cost more than that 0.o

Lol a turbo kit plus intercooler you are looking at 1500 at least. then you have to worry about fuel delivery (ie upgraded fuel pump, 550cc injectors ,fuel computer) then possibly an engine rebuild cause i doubt the stock engine can handle the added boost....so yeah your looking at alot of money and i haven't begun to scratch the surface lol
