Storms PE98C r/t is FINISHED :) (pic heavy)

Almost finished...needs paint possibly and have to address a response trigger problem...
Mods are:
Wells P90D
Cyclone X7 hopper
Apex2 14"barrel
Echo1 magazine adapter w/custom rail
Magpul Pmag30
Magpul assist
Magpul front/rear MBUS
Response Trigger
gasline re-route

another thing that has to be addressed is mounting the gas line :)

This project took about 2 days to finish...I've seen these done with A5's (project salvo pro) and with X7s...seen one done with a 98custom but no cyclone...i really wanted to do the Tar 21 bullpup but spending 200+ on an airsoft gun just so i can tear it down was not an option....

its been gassed up and fired about half a hopper worth with no problems....except that the response trigger is not engaging right...im either low on c02 or the linkage arm is flexing some....i will post a video when i resolve this issue...then its paint time....

response trigger problem solved..it was a number of problems....
1) faulty remote line...solved with a back up remote
2) P90 trigger was misaligned...solved by removing plastic rod and replacing it with a screw and adding shims
3) 98 custom was not seated properly inside the P90

Looks awesome .......and to think that old 98c was just sitting around collecting dust now it has new life way to go storm

Keep us updated with fresh linkage pics dude.
They'll be handy for anyone else wanting to try their hands at a"P90 mod".

Im using 1/8" aluminum strips and mocked up a new linkage arm...its more stout than the rod im using...the link that activated the 98c trigger i will notch out the end to fit the trigger...on the P90 trigger i will screw thhat link to the back of the trigger than test it...if it works i'll glue the links together with jb weld and run 2 metal screws through it...for the P90 trigger..i'll fill the trigger with body filler for added strength :)

Those Ali strips look fairly thick.
Don't think they'll be bending on ya, anytime soon.

lol its a pain doing the bends with out a vise...just a vise grip and my super human strength lol ...i'll work on it some more this weekend

Ouch no vise.....yeah makes for some fun times doing precise bends without a vise

U can pick up a small 4" hobby vise for under $20 at home depot

I was looking at one at lowes on Saturday and almost bought but i was like Nah i don't need it for anything

after making the right bend i think i have it :)...test fired ..response trigger is working well...ran out of HPA
Also added some more 90 degree bends on to the gas line :)
