| My AK-Alpha Black in its original incarnation. Tacamo Ak-47 barrel kit with Stock 14in barrel, Tacamo AK-47 woodstock, AK-47 wood grip covers, Sight rail cover...and of course a heavily modified alpha black, lots of grinding with a bench grinder and Sawzall. Now the current AK-alpha black, upgraded with the Tacamo Magazine Conversion Kit also upgraded the barrel to a 16in rifled barrel...had to do a bit of dremel grinding to get the AK parts to fit snugly. |

| I liked it better before but looks great. Besides there's not much you can do with the tacamo, I hate where the mag is placed -_- | |

| I'm attempting to rectify the gap, bought the kit from Tippmannparts.com instead of RAP4 so I didn't get that trigger guard extra that fills that gap. Trying to see if RAP4 will sell that part separately. Then it should fill out a bit. |

| Got a response from RAP4 about that special trigger guard.... - Quote :
- Greetings from Rap4.com!
I am sorry, but the trigger guard that you see in the photos was a prototype item and was never released to the public. We will be coming out with accessories, including the trigger guard for all of the mag kits sometime in the future, but we do not have an exact date as of right now. We can also custom make that part for you, but it would be pretty expensive (around $75-$150) because of the cost to run the machine, the material used, and the times it takes to manufacture it from scrap. Please, let us know if you have any other questions or if you need help with anything else.
Best Regards, RAP4 Team
Well, guess I'll be waiting till it gets out of the prototype-model phase and into production-model phase... Planned upgrades and additions in the meantime: BT or A-5 (if possible) electronic trigger grip, Box magazine. |
