Here is my latest addition...Tippmann A5, Fang Trigger (Mech), Flatline and new paint! Also added the "Infidel" name badge:






Added a 98 to A5 barrel adapter, cut down my original Alpha Black barrel and viola...CQB!!

Pretty cheap and there are a ton to choose from. The acutal cost of the plate was like $7.99 and I think you can do custom ones for like $9.99. I should have went with a custom.

Yeah for sure!!! I would have gotten SYclops...but I thought the $10.00 would apply to shipping...it does not! So you will for sure get the plate for free...but will still need to pay for shipping. Its like I got cheated out of $2.01! Lesson learned. Be sure to post up when/if you get it!!!!

BTW...its plastic and U used hot glue to put it on...just a heads up whne you get it so you have the supplies to adhere it whne it arrives.

Hey guys...so many of you know the story of the 2 new egrip boards I got from Tippmann. Well...I'm taking one of them and going to stuff it in my A5. There are some differences, but not too many that my modding skills can not overcome.

The main difference is that the trigger actuating switch is opposite of the Alpha Black...meaning that the trigger rests on the switch and when you actuatue the trigger it lifts up on the switch causing activation of the system. Well I have decided to modify the trigger frame to accept the Alpha Black Switch which will be activated by my my Fang Trigger. I'll post up some pics as I go through the process. should be pretty simple!

About the gun tag, which one should we choose do you think if we have the AB and want a tag for that? I'm thinking Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for me, but I might go with OMGTheQBisToast

Edit: By which one, I mean the nametag for what TYPE of marker (i.e. A5, 98, etc.)

Hey guys...did some minor modding on the A5 this weekend. I will be playing Reball this coming winter and wanted to transform my A5 into a CQB machine. So I bought a 98--->A5 barrel adapter and then cut down my original Alpha Black barrel. It came out NICE!!!

Even did some test firing on Saturday when it was like 65 degrees out...works AWESOME!

Thing looks cool as a cucumber Sy.
Have you tried it out yet for groupings n that?
Bet that short barrel would look B.A with an apex2 stuck on there too.
Still love that riser BTW.

I blasted the old mudflat...that's what I usually target practice at...at about 20 yards. Mood precision, but beyond that its probably suspect. I'll see how it performs shooting rubber balls in about a month or so.

I need to find a good long quiet place to test fire mine at, now too.
