MOTM suggestions (RESOLVED)

First let me point out that the old thread about this disappeared for some reason. So I'm starting this one.

We had some great ideas in there too. For example, there was the idea that in the MOTM, there would be no names so that the voting can not be bias. It makes it so nobody can vote on a picture solely because they like the PERSON better than the rest INSTEAD of voting on the marker/picture. There were also some other suggestions that people came up with. Storm had a lot of suggestions in that so Storm, post what you wrote below. Same with everyone else, post what you suggested. Thanks for reading .

i suggested a blind vote kind of deal for the motm...where the host gets pm'd the nominees best marker pics...can be 1 or 2 or 4...and the host picks whichever is the best and post them up with a corresponding number or letter instead of a username..and we vote which number or letter is the best...at the end of the contest the usernames are revealed

Yes that was one of them! I couldn't remember exactly what it was. Great idea! Love it .

That's what I do on the X7Og MOTM threads. All submissions are done via PM, and I pust up markers in the thread only marked by number. And then after the voting is closed, I come back and put names with the markers.

i think it would be an excellent idea....i was going to implement it at the next MOTM but the mothership crashed LOL

I'm taking the MOTM back over starting next month. As long as there are no objections to this, I'll start a blind vote next month. All submissions will be PMed tome.

That sounds good. Anyone object to it?

even though I went Dark Side I appreciate a good MilSim marker still.

Lmfao! Alright let's keep this thread open for more suggestions . I feel we should also do what I just remembered that someone mentioned, something like having the ability to update their pic for a week, and have a long voting time. Whoever said it please elaborate.

It's a US Army forum, so I'd say so. That the way we had it on the old forum.

US Army/ tacamo feed kits should be fine
